Halloween Cocktails

I love this time of year. The leaves are changing colors, the air is getting cooler, and everything just feels a little bit more magical. I especially love all of the Halloween decorations and the fun party atmosphere that comes with the holiday. This year, I decided to do a spooky cocktail shoot to get into the festive spirit.

I gathered some great props and supplies from off-price retailers and local shops. I found a new fog machine at a local retailer for super cheap, which was perfect for creating an eerie atmosphere. I came up with some pretty intense looking cocktails (taste wasn't the key here, just visuals) and shot some pretty intense scenes. You can see some of my favorites here. Be sure to hit the button below to check out the rest of the spooky cocktail gallery. I'm looking forward to shooting some very autumn-inspired cocktails & settings - what do you suggest I do next?

Along the way I came up with a few tips that I thought would be helpful for the next person feeling inspired to shoot some spooky libations. Check them out below!

Tips for a Successful Spooky Cocktail Shoot

1. Find great props and supplies from off-price retailers and local shops.

2. Invest in a fog machine or something unique to create an eerie atmosphere.

3. Come up with creative cocktails that fit the theme of your shoot.

4. Shoot in different locations to add variety to your photos.

5. Have fun with it! Halloween is a time to be festive and let your creativity shine.

I had so much fun doing this spooky cocktail shoot! It was easy to put together and didn't cost very much money. If you're looking for a fun Halloween activity, I highly recommend doing your own photo shoot! Gather some friends, come up with creative drinks, costumes or makeup looks, and get ready to have a blast!
